Watch this video of a moth being controlled, in flight, by a computer.Thanks to nerve probes stuck in the insect’s nerve cord, scientists were able to pass commands to the moth, who handled the difficult part of flying. The entire thing is a bit like fly by wire, where the moth makes sure that it stays afloat, while the computer gives it the direction that it wants the moth to fly in.
