Meet Titan, Saturn’s largest Moon - The NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory will host a lecture titled “Mysteries Titan” on March 15 & 16, which is open to the public and webcast live.
Trina Ray, an astronomer working on the Cassini-Huygens Mission to Saturn and the Co-chair of the Titan Orbiter Science Team, will be talking about all we’ve learned about this amazing moon, which among other interesting facts is the only moon we know that has a dense atmosphere (much like a planet) and liqduid oceans of hydrocarbons.
Details on the schedule, directions, and webcast info can be found on JPL’s website - don’t miss it!
