Personal Aviation - Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) are getting pretty mainstream, but the Mycopter project is aiming to make the same true for Personal Aerial Vehicles or PAV’s. The project is investigating everything from driver’s ed to technology and social impact of shifting personal transportation from “flatland” into 3D space.
An investigation into the human capability of flying a PAV will be conducted, resulting in a user-centred design of a suitable human-machine interface (HMI).
This project is a unique integration of technological advancements and social investigations that are necessary to move public transportation into the third dimension.
