Astronomy Photos of the Year - The winners of the annual astronomy photos of the year contest have been selected, and they are stunning. The contest is hosted by London’s Royal Museums Greenwich, in sports categories of “Earth and Space,” “Our Solar System,” “Deep Space,” “Young astronomy photographer” and a smattering of special prizes, including “Best Newcomer” and “People and Space.” This year’s competition collected over 800 entries from astrophotographers around the globe.
